The battery light on my truck randomly turns on. Sometimes itll stay on for most of a trp, sometimes it flickers and sometimes it doesnt come on at all. I load tested both batteries and they both tested good. The voltage gaughe on the dash reads normal. What would cause this? Its a 97 f350 with a 7.3 if that helps.

 

Probably bad diode in alternator, will likely be replacing alt before long

 

I replaced the alternator a few years ago. It didnt change anything.
