sorry to take away from your thread Chris.I had never heard of a kijiji b4,thot it was a small furry animal related to the chipmunk or somethin'.S ome of these fellas are partial to this stuff called por 15. Maybe you should look into that if you do all that work to the newer frame.

 

What I did with my frame is cleaned it and painted it with tremclad. Kinda wishing I would have did por 15 first now though. Woulda been more money, but in the long run might have been worth it.

Just something to ponder when your pondering what to do on your own frame.

 

where would i get the por15? how do you spray it?

 

Not real sure on that one. I've never used it but I've heard alot of folks talkin' it up quite a bit.Must be some good stuff.Maybe thru a parts or paint store.I have used a product called extend b4. Seemed to work very well for smaller areas.

 

I got it from a local autobody supplies store. I would imagine there is a por15 place you could google in canada and order it from there, or get a distributer list.
