dont you just love all of that whitestuff?
dashing through the snow in a one horse open sleigh,i sure do especialy when its in calgary...im not hockey fan so theres no rivalry there, and my brother moved there not too long ago, so i hjave poke fun at you.

as an after thouhgt, i hope that no one was or has been hurt in any traffic accidents that may have occured because of the SNOW. thanks mike.

Considering the fact I've lived here all my life >
I'm used to fact that conditions can change at any time.
I've witnessed a 40* dfifference in temp in 90 minutes.
From -20* C to 20*C at 2:00 AM
The snow isn'r so bad ,It's the idiots,plus the people from other parts of the world that move here and don't have a clue how to drive in it.
This morning Michelle had an Dr. appointment at 8:00,it took 1/2 hour to get 8 blocks.
As the time clicked by and 4 miles to go ,I noticed we were going to be at least another 45 minutes.
I called the Doctor on the cell phone & said, We'll take a cancellation this afternoon if there is one.
Sure enough, it ended up at 4:30.
There was something like 160 reported accidents in 5 hours.
Many weren't reported. Here if the damage is less than $2000.00 we can just get the other driver's info & drive to the nearest zone police station to report it.
Yesterday morning, I was on the calgary.general newsgroup and we were all taking guesses of how many collisions there would be because of the light wet snowfall, guessed 93.
The total ended up at 15 injury & 75 non-injury collisions. 2 off, not bad guessing.
One of the problems was the cold wind that blew all morning.
With 9 trees in the yard we now have a ton of leaves covering the snow.
The forecast for the next few days is:
+ 8 > +13 > +9 > +14.
I here it's nice in Toronto.

micheal t.90 accidents that is way too many.that is deffinately too many.hope no one was hurt seriously.people know that the SNOW is coming,or they can see it falling,but they wont slow down.i guess deserve what they get :wrecked car,higher insurance,no drivers
license.maybe they will learn......
