Upfitter Switch panel

I know that the Super Duties have factory Aux switches and of course the F650 dash swap but is there anything like that for our generation of F150?

Even better would be a replacement panel that I can either put in my switches or rewire to premade ones.

I ask because I have finally gotten around to installing my driving and fog lights, but the rocker switches are far deeper then what I expected and the owner of the truck my father would greatly prefer if I don't cut holes into the dash.

Here is an idea.
Look at the seat mounts over the trans tunnel.
If there is room there, mount a box with your switches in it to the seat brackets.
The box can be from Radio Shack. They have 'project' boxes of various sizes.
In that location it's out of the way and out of sight but easy to feel by hand.
Make a bracket to bolt to the seat frame and the switch box to the mount.
Run your control cable up through one of the floor hole fillers.
You will be relay controlling the lights so you only need light gage wire to operate the relays.
The way to do this is wire fused power to the relays and then you only need to run ground wires from the relays to the switches and switch is used to complete the ground path to the seat frame.
Then if any ground wire gets grounded from a fault, the light won't turn off but you just remove the fuse until you get to fix it.
This way there is no hot leads to the switches to cause possible fire issues.
Good luck.

I like the suggestion and in fact I actually found four small holes in the dash panel forward and above the transfer case shifter from where I think the previous owner probably had a brake controller or something of that nature mounted there. Now I have to do is get either a small project box like you mentioned or fab up a L or V shaped bracket and go from there.

Thanks again for the suggestion.

What I have done is fabbed a mount and with 3/4" square tubing coming up at a forward angle then straight up above seat level and with side bar mounts so I could mount my Ham radio and adjust it to any angle for viewing and operation.
And still be able to move the seat foward and.. have full access to the climate controls, dash radio and open the cup holder all without hand space difficulty.
Good luck.

So is this attached to the seat somehow or is it mounted on the panel above the transmission hump? (or just forward of the transfer case shifter if you have MSOF)

I used the seat mount close to the floor.
They are easy to get at and drill for mounting.
