CLEARANCE

im going to be installing a sub in my truck soon and was wondering if this would fit behind the rear seat? its 5.125 inch thick

What are you expecting from that? Do you have the original factory speakers in the doors? If so, upgrade those as I think they are 6x9's? That should give a boost in bass and sound. How big is that subwoofer? From dimensions it looks like a 6-8" woofer. Just wonder how much you'll get from that. I know your not looking for a "boom car" but wonder if the investment in the door speakers would be better, unless of course you already have.

im upgrading the whole system. new door speakers, head unit and sub. already have an amp. its a 8 inch woofer but put out what some 12's do. the speakers are 6x8's.

do u think that sub would fit behind the back seat?

$100 more and you know it fits. Well then try to build the dimensions of that box you want out of some scrap wood if you have any. Put it in and see. The bottom is fine, just that top measurement.
