Couple good buddies of mine helped me get the tired old 351 and FMX pulled out of my '68 F-100 yesterday. Did it on dirt in an old tractor shed. First work like that I've done in a while. Already had the radiator out and had the whole thing done in about 3 hours. Not bad for old folks.

Gonna replace the front seal on the tranny and get the 302/C4 into truck at the shed. Then haul it to my house to get it running. I can work in my carport here, a little at a time and not feel rushed to have to get a lot done at one time - 20 miles away at the tractor shed.

Just gonna get the truck running and road worthy now. Will start prettying it up after we're riding.

I've got 4 old chrome spoke rims I'd like to clean up and paint. Would sand blasting be the way to remove the chrome?

We've reached the end of another one. Some good, some bad. Count your blessings and make plans to do better when possible. My resolutions are the same as each year. Love my loved ones a little more stronger & try and treat my fellow man & women around me a little bit better.

Hope you can do the same.
