Has anyone tried to graft a older crown vic suspension to a 56 f100 frame? Anyone have pics and info on how they did it? i belive ive seen a couple from the 90s here but never one for the 00s other than the aluminum one. There are a ton of them in the junkyards around here and from the looks they are narrower than the 03+ ones. I was looking into an 03+ but want to run 15" steel wheels, which i dont belive i could on a 03+

 

I have a 2002 Crown vic suspension in my 54. It requires 16" wheels to clear the brakes. A lot of work bu drives nice and made the 4.6 swap easy.

Did you put the suspension under it or buy it that way any pics? I dont mind 16s but i do wana be able to run wide white walls and beauty rings. But i may be able to get a 97 crown vic for free now.

 

Cut off the front of the frame added the crown vic clip. Sits nice and low.
