So what are the odds we will get any accumulation of snow Saturday? About 50% chance of some/50% chance of none? LOL
My phone says 53% chance for Saturday but doens't say how much. I'm still burnt out from last year. I don't want any snow. I'm not ready anyway. I need to get a new friction disc for the snow blower and get it running again. It ran when I got it all put back together, but of course, now that it's cold, it doesn't want to start. Go figure...
Got the codes on my truck. Nothing obvious.
P1280 - ICP low input
P0603 - PCM KAM Test Error
P1728 - Trans Slip Fault

First two don't really matter at all. The last one is telling. That code could even eliminate a TC problem...

He cleared the code for me. TC didn't seem like it was locking up at all. Once the code came back, I could tell the TC was attempting to lock. When I step on the pedal, instead of gradually increasing like it should, I'm running 1700+ RPM at 55MPH. The more I give it, the higher the RPM goes. Without downshifiting, it runs about 2000-2100 RPM if I give it enough. 55MPH should be 1500RPM almost dead on. I can tell TC is somewhat engaged because when I let off, it slows down to about 1350-1400RPM until I step on the brake.
It takes about 15-20 miles of driving for it to set the code again.
In some of the research I've done, the TC for this era has a problem where the TCC solenoid piston cracks and won't engage correctly.

When do you want to get the topper off my truck, I'll be around most of Saturday and should be here all day Sunday. Maybe we could tackle those tie downs too.
Yes, yes we do. One of these days................
Fixed it for ya, I think...................
Let me know when you want to take care of the topper and tie downs. I can do it one day or the other, doesn't matter which.
