Josiah, I am heading back there mid January!
Greg, I got my dad's truck I can use to tow the trailer with! They are taking the bed off as a whole assembly for me, and my dads truck has a fiberglass cap so I gotta use a trailer, but let me know, I would appreciate that a ton!

The truck isnt coming with me, but I'd like to get the bed replaced because the one on there right now is falling apart and is half way collapsed and the whole bottom is rotten, and I'll never find another bed in this good of shape so I bought it!

Aaron,
The bushings were worn through, the pins rubbing metal on metal.
This of course let water (and salt) in.
The pins then corroded where they weren't rubbing.
They looked like the surface of the moon.
I couldn't do much then and there so I tried to build up the worst of the pitting with epoxy.
Hopefully they won't destroy the new bushings before they are replaced.
The front spring bushings OTOH were seized right into the spring eyes.
I had to torch the sleeves out so I could cut out a section of the press fit collars and drive the rest out with a cold chisel.
Anyway, all the threads are free and I used anti-seize liberally.
It should come apart without using a cheater, 4# hammer and an impact gun this time.
