Well I know that the transfer cases are fairly close to the same except for one thing and I can't remember what that is... But I do like the manual gear shift and the manual locking hubs. Really are the best way to go for wheelin' in my opinion.

just swap those things out. you will be money ahead unless your current bronco truely has that many problems. broncos in my neck of the woods are pretty cheap these days. being that yours is a 96 poses all sorts of differences compared to all other years. going a couple years back in models may be the way to go.

I'm trying to find another bronco that is a few years older then mine because I really like it but if I can't then I'm going to get a 78/79 bronco off my buddy. Big project if I get it but I think it'll be worth it.
