Morning boys & squirrels. Watched another lovely sunrise over Pleasant Hill/Lee Summit this morning. Sort of makes up for the whole going to work at 0030 let down; well that and the $$$I figured he meant WORK right as well...but I thought I'd give him a little crap over it. I figure my time in the barrel is coming anyway. Fire away Ches, I'm ready for it.

Good day ya'll!
Got the non locked up motor in yesterday and today got it bolted in, headers on, clutch hooked up and took the carb apart and cleaned it up some.
Tomorrow im going to :
Put distributor in
Connect all electrical stuff in yhe engine bay.
Carb on
Hood back on,
And I might try to start it. It supposedly has a bad valve, but I have another set of heads. Seeing Alan busy as all get out gets me stoked to work on mine!

Hello Missouri!
Y'all are making feel guilty for all the projects around here that I need to do, but can't until the shoulder is better. I figured out where all the masters of the medieval torture chambers went - they became physical therapists. The heating pad has been a close friend here lately.
In other news - I may be getting a temporary promotion at work. The boss hinted at it this afternoon, but has not heard if its been approved yet. More paperwork & no pay raise but I won't be working late on Wednesdays for a while. Will have to wait and see...

Good news about work, Dave!
Borderbum, if you have a bad valve, be prepared for a very loud POP when you get it fired up. Out the carb and it's an intake valve. Out the exhaust and it's an exhaust valve. (just FYI in case you didn't already know that)
I have to go get electrocuted tomorrow. I have another "nerve test". Talk about torture. We're trying to find out why my legs don't work all the time. I feel pretty good though, so I don't know if they'll even find anything.

1 or 100,000,000 its all good, the higher # shows how much you do not have going on in your life, or not.....Terry was a FTE'er while at work.
I travel alot and go overseas and have some spare time while in the room. Most of my stuff is in this mo monthly chat room keeping tabs on the crew.
We help out when and where we can, although Terry have never helped me with my house payment. lol

Ches you need to put down a coat of sealer first to get that green to even begin to look right. Find you a nice neutral gray then paint on top.
Alan the truck is looking nice, you now have the same bed that I have.
Rich, Brother I got you package today. Thanks man that is pretty cool. You can't go wrong with a bag full of "Uncle Bob" stuff!!! A cozy for can's, ink pens, note pads, key chain, BUT I think the best is the "Uncle Bob's" storage, "Chap Stick".....
Thanks man, that cool!
Unk Bob
