Im considering buying headers for my truck.. im just wondering, do i have an EGR fitting or not? 03 5.4L. Thanks!!

 

You should, the steel pipe with 2 small hoses attached to it , half way down,that goes from the throttle body egr valve to the drivers side exhaust manifold , the drivers side header will come with a threaded hole in it for the egr fitting that you are to remove from your old manifold, but most likely it will be rusted frozen, a new fitting is like $35 ,install into new header and attach egr tube, dont forget the anti-sieze for the fitting

 

03 F-150 5.4 dose have an EGR. Not to sure about the F-250s. Some of them do not have EGRs.

 

It should be easy enough to see at the rear of the manifold near the pipe flange.

 

Thanks guys, just remembered about this thread so i went outside to look. it appears i am EGR equipped
