is anyone else getting a pop up ad for the sponsor on the left side banner? it gets in the middle of a post and i cant read it wont move.????

 

20 bucks gets rid of all that. lol

 

all my ads stay off to the sides and top where they belong, except when i find my cursor over a highlited word, in which case the little window pops up, but moving the mouse away from it hides it

Yea, I don't mind the 20 bucks, it has been well worth it. lol

 

Not to suggest that FTE isnt worth supporting, but it works pretty well as a non-paid page, which is why I never paid. I pay for Pirate4x4 as I don't like the non-paid functions, and I pay for a vendor slot on another forum.

 

It works just as good except for the club, which is worth nothing to me, but I don't mind supporting them.

 

Firefox and addblock plus works for me.

 

Thanks greywynd the adds didn't bother me until the capital one add showed up right in the middle of the thread titles but the addblock plus eliminated all of the adds a good thing over all.

I thought i had adblock, maybe not.

I think what he was talking about wasn't the tall ad at the side but rather the small box below it that loaded right in the thread. That was annoying...

 

I'll take your word for it on the annoying part. Been so long since I started using adblock that I forget what the ads were like.

Occasionally when you do a firefox upgrade you will need to re-install adblock, I think I had to do that one in the last 2-3 years.
