Where did you get those and how much did you have to pay? I'd like to get a new set of headlights but not if its going to break the bank...my OEM headlights are pretty fogged up (I tried that lens defogger, didnt work that well for the front, rear though look nice) and I'd like to get more light and a better look

To each his own: if I had clear corner lights, I would pay to change them to amber!
Seriously!

I don't understand the new fascination with lights on vehicles? I see people all the time with their fog lights on when it's clear outside.
I've read a good write up that points out that visibility and distance are not as good with those HID? (florescent looking headlights that or bluish are purple looking)
Not only to mention they about temporarily blind me when people are driving the opposite side of the road.
It's this new flamboyant thing I guess. I picture people with these having a clown voice saying, "WEE look at me and my bright pretty lights!"

I agree with you about HID, hate it.

I dig the clear parking light on that brick nose. That's the only style I like besides the stock ones.

What's with all the craze for white turn signal lights? No different than the craze for blue headlights.

the clear corners is just for looks...it cleans up the front of the truck and makes it look about 10 years newer IMO.

now the HID headlights actually do both they look great and they put out alot of light. now i know theres alot of idiots out there that slap a kit in and dont adjust there lights. i run HIDs in all my trucks and have them aimed correctly and have not been flashed in the years i've been running them.

I don't think the frosted clear turn signal lights that match the headlights are anything like the stupid craze for blue bulbs.

Alot of older classic cars as well as newer cars have clear signal lenses with amber bulbs.

A little history, to explain where I'm coming from: Up until about 1960 or 61 American cars used the front clear parking lights and rear brake lights as turn signals, until the European's separate amber turn signals both front and rear started being adopted in American cars, although some manufacturers have never used amber lenses in the rear. All bulbs were clear, relying on the amber lenses for color. I always assumed the advent of amber-colored bulbs was introduced as a way to get amber turn signals into older cars in the front parking lights.

I look at clear turn signal lenses with amber bulbs as a step backward to the "old days." Not to mention being an added inventory item for bulb manufacturers and retailers. I always thought of amber lenses as a bit of added (attractive) color and class to cars.
