I know this is subjective, is the 56 a more desirable grill over the earlier models

You already answered that question. Personally, I prefer the earlier ones, but I was also raised in, and around these trucks, and have seen just about everything one could do to one. They are extremely popular, because they came chrome, and with frenched in headlights.

Tried to mail you yesterday but my mail didn't go through.
I was following a link that led to you and suggested you may have a set of ramhorn exhausts. If so I would be very interested.

Can you describe what this part looks like? I may have two that came in a box of parts from a '55.

I do not have any. I do not have any pictures of them. If you have some, you will know immediately if they are the rams horn manifolds, as they look like a rams head. Look them up on the internet, and you will find many photos.

Sorry. I sent the request for description of the part to the wrong post. I meant to ask the poster about the cowl linkage he is looking for.

As in the door latch assembly? If so, then yes, I have a pair of '56 latches, and might have two pair.

Pictures and price please.

Would also be interested in inside lock actuators and decent outside handles.

Jstanthrday@aol.com

I might be interested in two sets of all if u have them.

Ok, here are some pictures. I'm keep the cab shells, and door shells, and whatever glass is good. The wiper motor is in the '56, the front fenders are junk. The grille is a driver grille, not show grille. The dash is excellent in the '56 (it's coming out), and good in the 53-55 cab (a dent that can be fixed). Fresh-aire heater in the '56 can go, as can the cowl duct. There is a fresh-aire duct from another 53-55 cab around here too. The cowl vent lever/arm can be had from any of the cabs. Want something, shoot me an offer. Be reasonable, as I will not give it away, but don't want your arms, or legs, or first, second, and third borns, maybe fourth born, but it's negotiable. You pay shipping, GreyHound, UPS, USPS, etc. I also have a fair pair of F-350-600 front fenders. Probably some other small stuff around here too, but not sure. No Big Job stuff. I finally got the Peterbilt axles mounted, so the 53-55 Big Job is back on. Any questions, call me:

Joe @ 541-497-3258.
