T55+

But a T55 will work, just be careful not to strip it.

It is impossible to find a damn 55 Torx Plus in any standard parts store. Even Sears doesnt have them. Why does Ford make this so unnecessarily hard? Its the SEAT...just the seat. Sheez...

Screwdriver bit:
FTX55TPE2, Bit, Socket Driver, TORX Plus, 55IP

3/8" Socket:
FTX55TPE, Socket Driver, TORX Plus, 55IP
SK Hand Tool T55 Plus

Description:
TORX Plus® fasteners may be found in almost all vehicles from the 1999 model year to present. Common applications include GM transmission bell housing bolts and Ford seat belt anchors. Use of a standard TORX® driver on TORX® Plus fasteners may result in a rounded out fastener head or damaged driver.

I have taken all of my seats out 3 times. I have also installed a center console twice. I always use a T55. I have never had a problem. Just be careful, but you dont have to be granny slow.

If you remove the front seats completely, you may have a small 2 pin connector under each seat. Its for the directional controls if so equipped.
