Hey Tom/Carnut,
You have a great looking truck but that's not what's making me jealous - that garage looks like the Taj Mahal - What's in the bump out? Some might want more truck pics - I'd like to see the inside of that garage! day
Looking good over there in North Georgia.
All is good today - The Longhorns won on a last second field goal & so did the Cowboys. Ahhhh...

Hey Ben, I happened to snap a picture yesterday as I wanted a picture of the two extra grills that I hung on the wall about a week ago ( I got tired of them always being in the way). The hood may be next?

I buy 99% of my hobby needs on-line as I detest crowded parking lots and long lines; also there is nowhere to shop amongst the red rocks (good thing) and the fact that we have a 10.1% sales tax in AZ.
Problem is I have too many hobbies, all of which are not cheap. Fortunately, my involvement follows a biorhythmic cycle where my interests in them come and go.
I’m now in gun nut mode and it looks like the bug will last at least till the end of the year. Unfortunately, you can not mail order guns (without an FFL), so that means I’ll be headed to Prescott, where Whiskey Row and rodeos still exist; not to mention thirty or more gun shops. A Walther P38 is there that has my name on it.
I figure if you guys can have trucks rusting in your hay fields, then I can have a gun in every drawer. I just consider it a different type of “old iron”.

Our powers to be make it extremely difficult to own guns up here....especially hand guns. All the criminals got them though.

It's the insulation I bought with the kit. It's basically a reflective foil on both sides with plastic (not bubble wrap) sandwiched in between. It has an adhesive strip (peel-n-stick)running down one edge. As you can see, it really needs to be installed between the panels and frame. I don't heat my garage, so I'm not sure of its efficiency in that regard, but I really like it in the summer. Closed up, the building might get about 20+ degrees warmer than ambient. I can open both garage doors and the entry door and within 15 minutes the garage temp matches outside temp. Here's a link to the people I bought the kit from (although I can't recommend this dealer because of a damaged panel issue I had. Other dealers may be OK)

"Nice place you have, Carnut! Truck looks great too. "
Thanks, it was a 25th wedding anniversary present. I'm getting too old to lay on my back in the driveway, so I designed it around a lift. Sadly, I did all my family's oil changes and wrench turning in the driveway for the past two years while getting my truck road-worthy. In the past week, I've had my son's S-10, my daughter's Jeep and my wife's G6 up on the lift. I didn't realize how much I missed it.

The sellers have ruined Black Friday. It used to be worth it to go out and do battle with the other early birds. Prices on everything were great. Not now. The prices are about the same as sale prices and sometimes even higher. I bought poinsettias at Home Depot and a $200 camera at Target for $99. Other than that, nothing interested me. Jag
