The HwyHogg is finally Alive!

Hey guys, finally got the 460 broken in. It is in a 56 Panel truck. Thanks to all who have helped over the last year or so...still gotta run some front brake lines before road testing/breaking in...I've added a couple of links to videos...thanks,
James

Thanks! Even with my 2.75 hwy gears, the power at about 40 mph is scary...I think I may put a 3.55 posi in and for giggles get some 1/4 mile videos while it's a bare shell with now interior, insulation, etc.....

You must be so excited right now!!!

I had big dreams and a '51 F1 two years ago but my wife was going through thyroid cancer and my truck money went to medical bills and I had to watch the truck get towed away. I miss wrenching on it, maybe i'll get the chance again down the road...

I know what you're talking about! My '71 LTD that I put a 429 in could easily light up the tires with the 2.75 gears in the back, and I actually had a 2.49 9" pumpkin out of a '79 T-Bird that I never got around to putting in (since the car was basically a highway cruiser).

Congratulations on your progress, many of us live out our automotive dreams through people like you!
