anybody play with the boost pressure yet ?

Since I am one of the few that gets just awful mileage, I might as well have fun with it. Dont give me sermons on driving habits versus mileage. This truck does not care, it will get 14-16mpg, even with a 20 mph tailwind, driving down hill, coasting in neutral.

What can we do for some extra pep ? somebody must have played with these..

i will tell you one thing dont mess with your wastegate rods dont adjust them the engine is set at the most reliable boost for the engine i was told in the ecoboost class that if they are messed with the warranty is voided and ford will not help you on repair work i dont know of anything out there for the ecoboost yet to increase power and mpg, only thing i can think of is a cold air intake

SCT is about ready to release their tuners, probably after first of the year, they want to be sure it's safe. Check with Mike at 5 Star Tuning.

I put on a set of 285 70 R17 all terrains and my mpg is crap as well... I was around 16 mpg now it seems to be lucky to get 15 on the hey way with cruise set at 65mph...

I've seen the advertisement for the bully dog but don't have any information for you on that. Just two guys who get crap mileage

Well Hennessy has the 445MaxBoost SHO package out:

MaxBoost 445 Ecoboost Upgrade | 2010 Taurus SHO | Hennessey Performance

To get 80hp it's got a tune, different intake, exhaust and different intercooler piping. I'm sure they'll make a tune for the truck (their site already has the intake and exhaust).

Livernois Motorsport's also has stuff out for the EB engine's. I'm looking over their site and holy cow, LOT's more stuff for the EB car's/truck's.

Couple of 12 second full-weight cars:
Livernois Tuned 12-Second Taurus SHO's at Milan - YouTube

Best bang for your buck right here:
2010-12 EcoBoost (SHO, Flex, MKS, MKT) Airaid CAI / Tuner Package - December Mail Order Special - Livernois Motorsports

Reaction time doesn't affect ET, clocks don't start until the start line beam is tripped. You're right, he did have a bad light though.
