Thumbs up Newbie < sigh > I guess?

I'm new to this forum but not new to fords at all. I've had fords almost my whole life. Last ford was an '03 "Terminator" which was heavily modified. Had a 10 second GT with a Novi 2000 supercharger. Am I moderator over on the Corral (one of the longest surviving and original mustang owners website).... bla bla bla. Been there done that LOL.

I'm also not new to the racing scene. I'm the owner of a few racing websites some might be famiiar with like: RacersDen.net and www. easternfbodys.com ... there's a few others but I won't bore you to death with that.

Anywho... I'm here and learning how to modify my new (ok I bought it a few months ago) '00 F350 diesel and also get to know members here.

Cheers!
-Tim

How IS the 350? Any problems? The diesel forums up above are great sources for knowledge. That 7.3 PSD is a nice engine!

Problems? Not that I'm aware of .....
I'm about to do my own DIY CAI on this truck received my Donaldson filter today and now need a nice 4" pipe to use :-) Next up will be the exhaust. Already have it chipped (picked up a used superchips superpaq or whatever it's called) seems to be working just fine but as I mod, I'll probably trade it in for something a bit more unique to my setup.

Again, I have a great deal of knowledge of Fords ..... not diesels though so the learning curve is steep here.

Take a look at the Scan Gauge II for all but Fuel Pressure and EGT. Here's a link to their web site. Vehicle Compatibility : Linear Logic - Home of the ScanGauge

If you want to take a look at one, I have one in my 05 6.0. I love it!

I was actually looking at those on Ebay and I'd love to see yours. Does it show boost pressure? I suspect not but have to ask anyway :-) Not sure if the factory wiring measures boost.

Does your 7.3 have a factory boost gauge? Or do you know if your OBDII will report boost? If so, the Scan Gauge with allow you to view it.

If you go to the link I posted, it will tell you what gauges are viewable.

Negative on the factory boost gauge, unless of course, I'm a complete idiot and missed it on the gauge pod. LOL. I've not been able to locate any factory boost gauge.....
