My 86.. bought from "grandpa".. rust free
Ive been sanitizing it for three years... its sitting in the back of the shop.. I am letting it just sit right now.. with other projects well in front of it I plan on putting a straight axle into it... I had one in 89 brand new and did it right from the factory with less than 100 miles on it... sold it several years later... now nearly thrity years later Im going to do it again
This truck has all new parts underneath... some jim duff stuff.. which is ok.. but I like solid axle simplicity better.. I already have a disc brake explorer rear waiting for it on the parts rack
I may go all out and do a conversion using an atlas or something like that..maybe even some weird diesel if I can get out of Kalifornia,,, I love how short it is and compared to all my other trucks so compact to work on. I built a nice front bumper for it... with built in trailer tow receiver to accept a tow bar so I can tow it behind my other fords.. especially the supercab f600 project truck ( a couple of f600s hiding in the background)

Here's my 85 B2. Pretty ugly right now, but eventually it will be completed. Lately I have been thinking about how hard it would be to swap my 2.8 for a 289?? Will do a manual conversion on the transmission and play to insulate and spray line most of the interior. Brush guard is in the shed, and building a roof rack with a light bar. Haven't picked a paint color yet but it will be a two tone of some sort.
