6k lbs won't bother the v10. I've towed a few car haulers around that weight and didn't even really feel it back there. If anything, it'll ride better than when empty. 15 dollar oil changes and 15 dollar fuel filters every 50k miles, starting in 2 seconds in 20 below temperatures pretty much seal the deal.
