Did My Truck Have A Key FOB?

I just bought a '95 F150 4X4 Eddie Bauer X-cab. It has a 300-six and the 5-speed stick transmission. I'm sure it has almost every option, but was confused when he just gave me a key and no FOB. He's not the original owner, but he said he never had one. Didn't all of these trucks have a remote FOB for locking/unlocking the door locks and the OEM alarm? Just want to make sure before I order a new FOB and then find out my truck never had one!

Thank You!

'95, I don't think they did. Factory alarms didnt really come around until recently and even then, Honestly, They suck. I remember on one my grandfather bought new in '95 shortly before he checked out of this hotel called life it had a key fob with a little flashlight that he had to plug into a port under the dash in order to start the truck and once started he could remove it. Don't remember what it was called, I was like 10 or so at the time.

Ford had keyfobs as far back as I think 90, not sure when they came out on the trucks, but I want to say 94.

my 94 Bronco had one. Look under dash just to the driver's side. Mine had a gray box up there. Plenty of info on the net about how to find it and then how to reprogram a key fob. I bought one off the internet. Pretty easy to do.

Pic of the general thing...didn't get a good picture.

I have a 95 EB and didn't get a key fob with the truck. I did however find the RKE (remote keyless entry) module under the dash and bought the FOB off of e-bay and got it to work.

Check out this thread, it should have everything you need to know. https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/9...ess-entry.html

Edit: I was just a hair too late on my response. I see that Midnight1987 already posted the link.

on the right side below the steering wheel there is the littly cubbyole in the plastic piece. if you remove the pannel it will be right behind the cubby if you have it. heres a pic of mine with the pannel removed.

I stand VERY much corrected. But I would like to know what the device was that requires a fob to start it and I think it was factory. Anyone have an idea?
