door lock info
hey guys.....one of the door locks on the '59 F100 doesn't work, so
I bought new locks (didn't want one key for each door)
There's a pin that sticks out of the lock and engages with the opening/closing mechanism......this pin actually locks the door...
Well, the new locks don't have the male tip on the end, and the current lock that doesn't work doesn't have this pin on the lock. What do you call this tip, and is it part of the opening/closing mechanism; should it have come with the new locks, or can i buy this piece separately.......if i could figure out how to post a pic here, I'd do so......any thoughts?
thanks guys!
