ABS light on, and losing Brake fluid.

Look at your break pads.
As the pads ware down ,the caliper pushes out further and further.Putting more fluid into the system.
As this happens, the fluid in the master cylinder goes lower and lower,to the point you need to add more fluid.
That may be whats going on if there is no visible leaks.
Not sure where that switch is.

How it works:
There is a float switch in the brake fluid reservoir. When the fluid level gets too low, it activates the red BRAKE light. The ABS controller sees the red warning light and disables the ABS system, setting the yellow ABS light to on to advise the driver that ABS is "off-line".

The only time I see the "Red" (Brake) switch is with the hand brake on.
This ABS (it is yellow, in never noticed that) comes on when I start the truck. Normally it goes of but sometimes not. I guess I'll start by looking in the Resivour.
Twice in this trucks life, I've stepped down on the Brake pedal, and the Brake pedal would not budge!
In Alaska I had Ice in the Brake Vac cylinder line. I never thought I'd have that down here in the Sunny south.
