Yes three, if the bulbs are 80w/100w, the single post ones were only 55W like the xenon bulbs I already have. If you could give me the part number of the bulbs you are using that should help. I've only looked online and I can't seem to find a single post for 80w/100w. thanks

Quit messing with junk and do it the right way! I have been preaching this for years now haha. Custom retrofit using high quality projectors, ballasts and bulbs. Does it cost more than Recon? I am sure. But we are talking about visibility here. I think that is more important than, lets say brakes. Because if you don't see it, you won't even get to hit the brakes!

Hey I totally agree. I'm so tired of sacrificing function for appearance and paying good money for it. What brand do you suggest?

Hey thanks for the numbers and quick response, been out all weekend. Looks like I'll have to try the high beam in both cause both of my bulbs take the H1's. If I get enough flash backs I'll change the low's back. Thanks for all your help.

I hope I didn't offend anyone who has those lights... I didn't mean to call them explicitly junk... More of a generalization. On my 2006 F250 I used Acura TL projectors on my retrofit. These were high quality projectors but not the easiest to work with. On my second retrofit I used FX projectors, off of a an infinity FX. This is another quality bi xenon projector and easier to work with. My advice is to go on The Retrofit Source online: headlight upgrades for all applications and do some reading. Then you can browse the packages they have available. You will need projectors, ballasts, bulbs, bezel/shroud and a wiring harness.
If you are somewhat handy, and patient, you can attempt your own retrofit. It is not easy, but not impossible. If you're not interested in doing it yourself there are retro companies that will do it for you. I would estimate that a retro would cost around $900-1000 with you providing the stock headlights. You can do it on your own for $500.

This is not a cheap upgrade, but one you use every single day. I still can't believe Ford didn't release them in their super duties yet. I am sure 2015 will have them .

AMEC - is it your understanding that they only have these modules in smoked glass? I'd prefer clear so it doesn't look modified.

Also - LaxPlaya - you mentioned the retrofits that you've done. Can you give a reason or two why that extra work is better than these Recon pop-ins? It looks like the Recons are around $750, which doesn't seem bad.

Thanks!

Nice, Andre! I was on their site and I only saw the smoked option. That's great news. Thank you.

Well that's interesting... It's quite a difference in price, too.
