Wiring heated seats to remote start?

Ok, so I found a wiring diagram for my heated seats and I'm trying to figure something out...when I turn the ignition on, it triggers a relay providing power to the heated seat switches, so when I push the switch it send power to them. The hot wire after the heated seat switch is a yellow/black wire. Can I just tap into this wire with a relay from my remote start auxiliary wire?

I wouldn't. I would parallel a relay to switch and use the RS to trigger. Basically, spice into the two wires in the heater switch, one to 87a and the other to 30 (power to 87a and 30 toward the elements.) Then find a positive pulse output from the RS, tie into 86 and run 85 to ground.
I would go this method because it allows you choose when you want heated seats and not automatically when you RS.

Well since our winter/cold seasons last about 5 or so months out of the year, then I'd just leave it that way until the weather warms up. I mean, any time you use a remote start in the winter it's almost always to warm up the truck, so normally you'd want the seats to be warming too. Then when the weather warms up it can just be unplugged until it gets cold again.

Does your heated seat not stay on even when the truck is turned off then back on? I have noticed that if my seat heater was on when I shut the truck off, it will be on the next time I start the truck also, this seems to only apply to the drivers side which makes sense.

If you want to go that way, then you can still wire it up with the relay, just find a pulse pos during RS or reverse the power on the coil for a pulse ground. If you go that way, I would put a switch so you don't have to manually unplug the wire after the winter.

Ford offers a few different remote starts for the 2011 and 2012 model yr Superdutys, you can find them on the ford accessories site. They might work for you and they control the heated and cooled seats. They are less than 300 bucks.
