Questions on my 2012 F350

Questions on my 2012 F350
Ok so first off, this thing is SICK! I love it. Mine is a Black Regular Cab XL package with lots of XLT add on options. It also came with a Fisher Plow 
Anyways, I do have some questions.
When should I change the oil?
Where I live, we don't have many E85 fuel stations but if I end up finding one can I mix regular fuel with E85? Should I be concerned about E85 in cold weather conditions?
In the front bumper where the plow hook ups are, I have a plug which I am assuming is a block heater hook up. I've seen the option on Ford.com's build website but I don't really get why you'd need one on a gas motor. Does it have anything to do with the FlexFuel stuff?
This is one mean beast of a truck. It puts everything I've ever driven to shame. As much as I love it, I think my friends and family love it more.
Everyone gets so excited when they see it, infact-one of my friends is buying a new one this week just because he likes mine so much.
I can't wait to test out the E-Locker in the snow, bring on that white gold!!!

I'm guessing you have a 6.2L gasoline engine?

Congrats and good luck with the new rig Fawcett, we
would like to see pics posted of your new '12er.
I changed my oil first at 1000 miles and 5000 mile intervals, not
the 7500 mile interval mentioned in the owners manual. Seems easier
to remember every 5000.
There's a block heater in mine also, have never used it yet.

I did mine at 1700, then 5000 then every 5000 after that. Just makes it easy to remember the nice round numbers.

You can mix the gas, but I would not recommend ever using the E85 unless it is at least $1 cheaper, not worth it. You will get less power and less MPG (and these trucks don't get that good of MPG's as it is).

Yes the plug is for a engine heater, they come standard on trucks sold in certain cold weather states. I have one and use it every morning during the winter. Heats up the oil and makes the truck run a little bit better during the cold. I got a timer and connected a cord to that so that it is only drawing power for about 3 hours, any more and you are wasting electricity.

+1 to Mike and Kevin's comments. I haven't looked into the E85 that much, but based on what I've read, it needs to be significantly cheaper to reap any benefits from it.
And yes, pics are good.
