New Guy with a question

Hey everyone, yes another noob to the site.

I was recently handed down a 1994 Ford F-250 XLT 2wd with a 7.5L. It was given to me by my father when he quit using it as his work truck. I have already done some modifications to it. I put on some new wheels and tires, new headlights, muffler/exhaust, K&N filter, cut out the horns from the intake tubes, and some other misc. stuff.

My next big thing is to fix the horrible suspension. With it being a 2wd the front sits about 4" lower in the front. I am wanting to get that raised/leveled but i cant find any leveling kits for my year. Once that is done i was going to put some good riding shocks front and rear. Can anyone on here point me in the right direction on coil spacers/leveling kits, shocks. I appreciate it!

Cold Morning!

Sweet truck! I love the 7.3 diesel. Have you thought about a Dana 60 swap and 4x4 conversion?

SCR he has the 460, not the diesel.

This says for F150 but the F150 and F250 front springs are the same size (I have F250 springs on my F150), so this should fit your truck:

I appreciate it! Thats exactly what i am looking for! It's nice to know now that the 150 spring spacers will fit the 250's. How hard would it be to put these on without going to a mechanic? I am pretty good with tools and replacing things but never had to put this kind of accessory on.

I ready 7.5 but somehow got 7.3. I guess I had a brain fart.

You are goin to have to jack the truck up (by the frame) enough to fully expand the spring and shock. Then you'll have to cut the shock and spring loose, put the rubber bushing under the spring then bolt it all back together. You might also have to take the brake caliper off. It not really that bad.

You will also need a jack to pick the front end up enough to re-attach the spring to the coil tower.

You will need to get it aligned after you install these - find an alignment shop that can handle TIB and putting bushings into it.
