Local 4x4 shop, they are for some sort of chevy application, leaf springs or something, either way, very common...

Its a Doug Nash DNE2....

NMB2 and I found it at the JY one day... It was like $50 out the door, and sat on Justin's shelf for a while, before I bought it off of him.

Tomorrow I am headed to the track to get some time on my bike, but thursday I will probably get the hard parts wrapped up, maybe get my water tank finished. Then I can start fabbing my traction bars, and drive shaft, get the bags mounted, and start plumbing things... After all that its off to the fron of the truck to get the fun stuff done.

More soon...

Just Krylon Fusion Satin Black, It covers real good, and holds up nice. The tank is done in Hammerite, and the shocks (which are just Pro-comp ES5000's??) and rear cover (as well as T-bars will be be) are painted a similar color to my truck.

As far as the Everlast stuff goes, I have had my Tig for almost 4 years, has all the bells and whistles, I upgraded to CK torches the day I got it in the mail, and it works as good as any Miller or Lincoln Ive ever used, only chinky part is the pedal. I also have a 50 amp plasma, and it works well also. Have had that for 3 years or so, but it doesnt get used as much as my tig, and the only only thing ive had to do to that is pop the air solenoid apart and lube it after I ran too wet of an air charge.

Overall, If you can afford blue, buy blue, however, if a cheaper machine is all thats in your budget (like it was when I bought them), dont hesistate to buy an Everlast, they have treated me good. And this is coming from a guy who can afford to buy the better stuff now, and probably will if these ever crap.

It doesnt look like much work was done, but it was a lot. Got the brakes done, little stuff mounted, and the bags on... Tomorrow will be traction bars. I have had the truck outside because we have had about 10 days of sunny 70* weather, its supposed to rain tomorrow, and being Washington, that means July 5th will be the next sunny day, so I had to put it back in the garage.

Its not show quality, but not too many 88 F250's get this sort of work put into them....

Yup, front tank is a custom 30gal stainless water tank.

...

Never heard them called Bitch bags before, is that a common term?? Oh well, guess im a bitch....

Modified the spring plates to bolt the bags to, I dont like clutter, and the bolts that come with them just look like *** IMO... The uppers are just the bracket that came with the bags. They are Firestone Riderites that I pulled off a truck at the JY for dirt cheap, and they have been kicking around for about a year
