I work for Arroyo Robles winery but i know of the guys out at River Star...

as far as barrels, yeah, shipping is probably brutal, but hey, maybe when we get em all fixed up, i'll have to drive mine out your way and cruise with you...
plus, if you've spent any time with winemakers, i'm sure you know it takes alot of good beer to make great wine, so i can help with some "quality control"

I had a lot of fun in Paso, did the vine-to-wine cycle, spent time at the co-op and at tasting rooms. And yes, we drank a lot of Firestone! Still do.

took some pics...

There are 3 pics in my gallery.

Sorry about the chainlink. The old F4 has been imprisoned in this storage lot for 10 years, and there wasn't anybody around today to unlock the gate for me to get in for better pictures.

There is a 64 Galaxie convertible sitting in front of it on four flat tires.
It will have to be moved before I can drag the F4 out of there.

That truck appears to be in pretty solid shape. It seems like a good thing if your friend wants the dump bed. By the way...a dump bed can be really expensive...so it'll be fair trade if you exchange it for a newly made flatbed.

It is pretty solid, and complete. No trim missing. A little rust at the bottom front of the hood, a little rust (small holes) at the very bottom of the fenders near the running boards.
No rust-through in the cab floor. So I've seen a lot worse.

I'll add some interior shots and engine bay shots soon. Etc.

Heck the current scrap iron value of the dump bed is probably a decent amount.
But I'll be happy to trade my buddy for stuff. I'll end up having him fab a bunch of stuff for it, and do the wiring, and the exhaust, and... whatever else I can talk him into.

Looks like an IH behind it, too. Nice find!

It is an old Scout, not sure what year.

Coincidentally enough, it belonged to the father of one of my best friends when we were in high school. I rode around in it 30 years ago. It has changed owners twice since then and unfortunately has sat there for ten years too. It is for sale. So is the Galaxie convertible.
