4'' cat back

Anyone tried that. I have an extra 4" exhaust system, just wondering what some of you think? I tore into the y pipe yesterday got rid of the bottle necks. Seems to be doing much better now I am temped with the 4".

with only 9.2:1 compression(on the 3V) I don't think it will hurt to go bigger but the cost might not be worth the possible gains.
Have a link for the ones you have in mind?

Some guys are running 2.5-3" duals without problems, and volumetrically, those flow more than a single 4" would, so I say go for it.

I'm in the air yet on whether I'm gonna go single or duals on mine. Price is very comparable.

Thanks for the response I am going for it. Like I said in my post I have an extra 4" exhaust system that I can make work. Wow I caint wait to do it. I'll let you guys know how it comes together.

Got it done and she sounds good we will see about the others like MPG and Pro.

Theres a short peace of that 21/2" behind the cat I might go back and get rid of its about 12'' long w/ a small offset.

I put a 4" flowmaster cat back on my 08 sounds good at cruz speeds didn't see my mpgs go up. now when pulling it does have a good sound

2 1/2? Stock was 3".
