not sure how good the speedo is but around 20-25. but after the fluid/filter change and new modulator it is acting a LOT better. didnt have time to see if it would get into third but i have a feeling it will now.

Another thing you can check if there is actually any vacuum getting to the modulator. Is the hose at the modulator still connected, not cracked either. The steel line going to the modulator will rust internally, shutting off vacuum.

well i got it to shift to third now. its just set with high gears. it did come out of a van. i guess it was meant for towing plus with me having the big 9" rear end i dont have a very high top speed. it hit 2.5 -3k rpm by 35mph. of course i dont have a tach so thats an estimation.
