Michigan Buck Pole thread

Lets do an online buck pole.

Winner gets bragging rights for the year.

It has to be your deer, not a buddies, not one you saw. Post up a picture of you with your deer, in this thread.

In December we can have a vote to see who the winner is.

nobody has anything to post?

I had a bad week up north, the big deer went nocturnal. I only saw doe and small bucks during the day.

Hope to get out later in the week to chase some down in Oakland county.

Seems to be the going trend.....so far. Few guy from work just reported that they hadn't shot anything either. not even doe.

Weird season, do you think the rut came and went or is not in swing yet?

The guys at my work have gotten mostly does and spikes....a few 4 points have been reported. Not sure what is up with the rut.... I have not been seeing the buck sign I usually see... maybe the rut is late this year?

That's what the guys here are claiming. But the studies that have been done say it is started when the days get short (lack of sunlight/time change). IDK, every little buck and all the doe that I saw and not any type of sign. I had a scrape out by one of my bait piles and it was never retouched.

I saw some does, but nothing bigger than a spike. They are chasing the females around. I'm sitting right now. Haven't seen a deer in days.

Not bad for just out behind the house.

Have a good one.
