Oh it really burned... I got to work at 9am and at 11am someone came to me frantically telling me that my truck was on fire and everyone was supposed to get out of the building. It turned out that Ford had a recall for a faulty cruise control switch. It shorted out and started to burn, then brake fluid fueled the little fire until it became a large fire until it engulfed the engine compartment. Fortunately, nobody was hurt and my insurance paid me for the loss.
A guy who works next door to our shop video taped the action and I stuck it on youtube (see below)youtube
