I am a veteran and I had to work today! What a drag!

I was part of an F-14 Tomcat Fighter Squadron aboard the Aircraft Carrier U.S.S Forrestal. The movie TOPGUN has my planes in it. They were some BA planes!
I have patched holes from air to air combat. Pretty real stuff...
Military life is tough on a family, but I wouldn't trade it for nothing! It made me who I am today. Fighter Squadron 31 aka VF-31 is the squadron I was attached to, and very proud of it! It's now renamed VFA-31 here's a link if anyone is interested. VFA-31 - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

My Grandfather was a POW of WW2 as well as a baton death march survivor and my father was a SAC Air Force Captain stationed at Elsworth AFB in Rapid City South Dakota during the Vietnam war. Thank you to all that fought/fight/will fight for this nation!

 

Thanks to all who serve and to those who support us. I lost one of my friends today, a WWII Navy Vet. He was 86, loved life and football with a occasional drink or two. Marty was my neighbor. Good friends are hard to come by. chuck
