Awesome! Do you have some pics showing the whole truck after the chop? By the way my wife says the mirrors have to go! How much did you take out of it? I have never seen that bed as separate from the cab. Everytime I have seen that bed it is a unibody. Did you do that or am I so uninformed?

 

I like the fact you used lead to fill insted of Bondo....

south america did come this model of truck. Did Not come unibody. the bed is separate of cab.

the windshield glass is craftsman. did building at size.

the chop is 10 cm (I think it is 4´ in)

Looks great. How did you match the body lines for the rear window and front windshield. The taper in the back usually needs to be sliced and spread to match the rear window channel. the front pillar also tapers as it goes up. Did you add metal to build them up?

What do you do with the gap between the windshield and the door when it is closed? Is it just missing door rubber?

I am not knocking the work by any means. My uncle and I chopped one years back and used two roofs to make the gaps smaller and easier to weld. We did it in 4 sections just as you. It really does look good though.
