I believe I am going to buck the trend. I prefer the 60/40 seat for the ability to lift up the drop down center to allow a 3rd person to sit in the front. I have found that my drivers seat offers plenty of support. However I qualify that statement with I have only made one long trip approximately 1200 miles (round trip) and it was very comfortable. Also, I have a full back seat and I am able to sit six people very easily. I have leather and have owned cloth in a F150 and to protect my natural ability to spill coffee from non-spillable cups I sit on towels almost the same color as the seat. I purchased seat covers for the leather, which allows me to remove them and wash them when they get too dirty. The reason behind this is I use my F250 to haul my boat and when you finish a day of shrimping/fishing you can be very dirty.

I like the buckets. I don't like anybody invading my space while I'm driving and with the captains I don't have to explain why, even though there is "room" with the 40/20/40, you won't be occupying that 20 portion any time soon.

 

Original reason I started buying everything with captains chairs and full center consoles...was tires if running noses beside me.

 

I would go for the captains and leather my last truck had them and I really miss the storage space and the comfort of the leather on this truck . I took this truck off the lot and it had a cloth bench.
