Will be using some late 90's mirrors with this truck. found some that are heated and really need this in cold country! old iron with a modern twist. My friend jason who helps me alot thinks i've gone off the deep end with the mirrors. but he wants to help, he's easily amused also!
Fast 2.0 fuel injection installed and running! New 3.0 fox racing shocks. All new shock supports and related brackets.3.0 14" frt and 3.0 12" rear. Few more items to be completed. Working hydro boost brakes, 4 wheel disc. Getting hoses and fittings in soon.
Been awhile since checking in. 70crew with fast fuel injection. Runs great, but. Their was some operator errors. Ohms on spark plug wires will give electrical noise. Need to verify your ohms on wires, fast has guidelines you need to follow! Wire power to batteries and not to solenoid then to battery, possible electrical noise issue! Finishing up on interior and noise dreading in cab!
[I]70crew 4wd, aluminum bed with lots of upgrades. 285/70/16" tires. Daily driver performance tow rig.
Truck looks beautiful!! Hey, I really like the look of those mirrors, might be something to think about for my 67. How was it setting up that fuel injection, been thinking about going that route also.

Fuel injection not hard. Tedious and read instructions carefully! Then read them over again. I did the ignition and distributor also. Expensive! But everything is built to work together! If parts and plug wires in question could cause electrical noise, it happened with my accel wires and had to ohm wires for correct resistance. Fuel tank making all the ports in factory tank. Not hard but tedious. I built me a 40gal aluminum fuel tank in frame in back. Had to move a crossmember in back of frame to make this happen boxed frame at end of frame also.
Custom aluminum 42gal. Tank in frame. Had to move crossmember to make happen.
Damn your putting the finishing touches up on it. Turned out great glad you went with a v8 gasser. I'm getting tired of seeing every crew cab with diesel swaps lately. How's that link suspension feel in the front? I'm wishing I held off and spend the extra bucks on a set of fox 3.0's myself. But I never did a link suspension before so I didn't want to screw it up. Got any underside pics showing the suspension snd some of what interior you have in it so far? I really need to start back on my crew but relocating took up my whole summer so it's been dead in the water for awhile now. Hope to get something done to it before end of the year once the funds get back on track. The flatbed and body color really make it a stylish tow rig. Does that Fast setup make it feel like a modern day v8?

Mirrors not hard make shims. Heavy thick rubber gasket 1/2". Belt sander about 3/8" top and about 1/16 btm. They actually bolt up nice to can on the arm that goes through outer body to inside. Measure 50 times cut once.
