Hello highntight. As you can see I photos front core support shaved down. One thing I haven't done yet is do a spring loaded version at pins instead of washers! It's on the list of things to be done! Hood hinges are normal but I had to build up about 3/8" of glass. Also have a metal plate inside to help support glass. Everything seems to work well! Only other upgrade is maybe buildup glass under hood at front pins! Radiator is from mid 80's Ford F-250.

An excellent build on your Crew. That is exactly what I want to do on my 70 CC ex-Green Construction Co. Trans-Alaska Pipeline System construction truck. Do your bedsides come off, and if so, can they be used as 4 wheeler ramps?

Hood upgrade!

Www.autofab.com builds the hood! You will probably have to make some mods to fit your truck correctly! Not a bolt on and go situation! Their are always mods! One thing I noticed is when driving in the rain the wind helps clean the windshield better! Like the visibility issues with the lowered hood also!

Bed/ ramps.

The aluminum bed is 6' 7" long! Was about 7'6" and we pulled one section of aluminum out and welded back up! Needed enough to carry four wheeler and fuel/misc stuff . Everything is working well!

Ride quality 70 crew!

I have went to a lot of trouble and expense to get this truck lighter and ride nice! Upgrading to longer leafs from super duty 2011 was a awesome upgrade! I highly reccomend this for these ole trucks! 2011 leafs are 66.5" long. Measure 100 times and drill once! I have since upgraded to carli suspension pre runner leafs and it just got better! Did do a shackle flip on rear with the 2011 rear hangars and shackle! Older hangars with 3" wide leafs will not fit! Have to use newer hangars and shackle!

Super duty leafs!

Bought a set of factory super duty leafs from 3/4 ton. Works nice! Had to move some stuff Round to get right stance but it's just a matter of drilling holes and these frames drill not to bad! Used leafs cost me $350 for my experiment!

This is original stance with 2" blocks.

New stance

With new stance of truck and loaded it sets level! If heavily loaded it will drop down a bit! Will have some airbag assist soon! For towing my blue ford! Heavy trailor and truck squats it a bit. No overloads on truck! Airbag assist!!!!! Ride quality!

My last major job is building a crew headliner! Never built before but have talked to some smart people and have a plan! Cost about $350 to do!

I dont know how fancy you are going with your head liner... But I thought I would toss up a couple pictures of mine I just finished in my crew. I'm about 100 buck or less into it. I'm just right below you in salt lake city and bought it from laird plastics a local slc place. 1/8" abs plastic, Took a heat gun to it and molded in quiet nicely.

Don't know if its a route that you were thinking, but its an option... No painting, no cloth, no droop...

Yes this pretty much the direction I was looking for! Still need to get some trim pieces! Yes I like! My truck will be getting used and anything rust proof and low maintenance is right up my alley! Thanks for showing. Yeah just down the street and over that little hill called rocky mtns!

Looking at your lighting was thinking of doing similar setup! Might do some led lighting below seat to light up cab when I lose something under seats!
