Ruger® SR1911™ Centerfire Pistol Models

just gotta wait should be done next week, strait from ruger less than 8 miles from my house, machine work done by a friend, assembled by another friend and test fired by yet another friend. it is good to have friends working for Ruger

what kind of machine work... anything special?

I love Rugers, my first 2 pistols were Rugers. a P89 that I still have and a P90 that I traded for a grand towards my F450. I like them enough that my Queensland Heeler is named Ruger. As far as my carry piece and range guns they are Springfield XD's and Xdm.

the machine work at the factory, I have 3 friends that work at ruger!

My friends and I are huge Ruger fans, we have been up in Prescott multiple times trying to get tours of the Ruger plant. Maybe if we knew someone who knew someone...... hint hint.

I will ask, I have never been in the plant myself. I had meet Bill Ruger, quite a nice person
