My rims are painted black. I think it looks good. The PO did it, so I can't say what paint or give you any details on it. I get compliments on my truck all the time. People are always staring at it when I drive by. It either looks good or they want to know why their ears are bleeding (straight pipe).

Still like's to argue with me that my 7.3L has a computer, and it's the same as the powerstroke. Although I think more just for the sake of joking around.
Reg cab 250's were the only ones that got the 44hd, super cabs and crews and reg cabs with plow package got the d50. Also 80 thru 85 350's had the d50 as well

Could be right about the reg cab getting the different axle, as all my uncles F250's are reg cab. Was the D60 only the camper special on the 350's? Because I'm pretty sure ford started adopting it around '79ish and has been using it ever since. And it seems stupid to not use it.

That makes a ton more sense.

Sidenote the dana 60 go dropped for 80-85.5. It came back in the f350. Thats why the dana 60 f350s are so high the frame wasn't designed for the sfa. It was designed for ttb. Also why they rid like crap cause the shackles are reversed from normal convention.
