OK, had to show 'em off. New fogs to replace the OEM fogs (same location, new mounts) and the corresponding PIAA headlamp bulbs:

Looking Good. I did the same lights on my little truck (the ranger) I went with the larger Piaa round lights for the F350, I just like the look of the larger ones. Each to thier own right

Thanks.... they are much brighter than stock. The headlamp bulbs made a big difference, most notably the peripheral light that they emit. I saw a big improvement. I tried the Sylvania bulbs too, which were very nice as well, but in the end I chose the PIAAs.

Now, the halogen fogs might look small, but they pack a punch!

They are much brighter than stock fogs, and they light up far down the road, almost like a driving light, but they are a fog (PIAA makes a matching set of driving lights in the same model/style). I need to have someone drive my truck towards me from a distance so I can check the aim so as not to shine up too high into oncoming traffic. Last night was my first night drive with the new fogs and they are way cool. $164 w/ $0 shipping for the pair.... just shop around on the net.

I went with the horizontal units b/c everything else on the truck's front is pretty much non-round (bumper, grill openings, stock lamp lenses etc..). Lots of folks have cool-looking round fogs too, and we each like what we like...

 

Thanks, yes, much brighter. And (fingers crossed) I used the OEM wiring. If I add another pair of lights later I will obviously need to use a whole new relay/harness.

Unfortunately, the OEM fogs were slightly damaged a couple years ago after a nasty low-speed fender bender with a Stratus.... so they are now in a landfill. I wouldn't say they were worth much x/c the clear lenses were intact. Sorry.
