1976 F250 Highboy Car wash

Washed the truck today, Yesterday put the exhaust system on it, today washed it and vaccumed it out cleaned the windows rims and tires, Looks really good.

Nice looking highboy! it looks like you still have your power assist steering intact too, nice rig!

Thanks! Correct, Still have the Power steering assist. Got a new Cylinder and Control valve a few months back and a power steering pump, The PO had it manual steering.

It's a nice system, when maintained and working correctly, it gets bashed, unfairly i think, guys are judging a setup that's most often been neglected and abused for four decades and calling it junk, i love my power assist.

No sir, Bought the truck that way, assuming original ford bed rails.. not sure.

No. Bought it with the truck though. Its from Jeffs Bronco Graveyard. They sell for 250 new i believe. May be wrong.

Nice truck and I agree, those bedrails look factory to me, just like the ones a buddy had on his '79 he bought new.

sweet truck is that a body lift on it if so how much lift does it have? i have a 3" body i was thinking of using when i throw a body on my high boy swap but im un decided how it will look.

i like the body lift idea were i already have one sitting on a shelf from a parts truck and im needing 1/4" to get the cab to line up with the bed just the matter of milling 1/4" off the rear mounts. my main issue with most body lifts is that the cab and frame get so far apart you can see a huge gap but it does not look like that is a issue on the high boys. do you have a straight on side pic i could see how the frame looks under the body?

That sure is a nice looking truck you have there. I have those same wheels on my truck. What do you use to clean them? I use HVAC coil cleaner, and rinse very, very thoroughly. I love the look of those old highboys.
