Oil Pressure .... Light / Guage on the 2011 F-350

Hi Folks... I've had my 2011 F-350 2 months. I don't see any way to monitor oil pressure nor Alternator output. Is there an idiot light for these two systems??
Thanks
Roy

Hi Roy,

The warning for these is located in your message center. If there is a fault with the charging system or oil pressure the truck will start dinging and you'll have a message telling you of the fault.

Operating manual pages 17 and 21 talk about this.

If you have to know a numerical value, putting the gauge cluster into test mode will show you numbers for all the inputs that it keeps track of, down to items like the secondary fuel tank level that may or may not exist on your truck. Hold 'Reset' when cranking and release when you see the '4x2' RTT mode indicator.

Very true. FWIW, you won't get a numerical value for oil pressure. There is no sensor to detect pressure, it's just a switch that closes around ~7 PSI if I remember right.
