Keep a watch on Ebay...they pop up from time to time, they were also used on some ford CARS in the 70s.....

1977 applications: Maverick/Comet.

1977/79 applications: F100/350/Bronco/Thunderbird/LTD II/Ranchero/Cougar/Continental Mark V.

1977/80 applications: Mustang II & Mustang/Capri/Pinto/Bobcat/Granada/Monarch.

The 3 spoke sport steering wheel used on 1978/83 Fairmont/Zephyr is not the same.

 

I got one off eBay a few days ago. Spent more than I wanted to on it, but less than I could have. This one atleast still has the horn button, although it is missing the emblem in the middle. The emblem can be had for $25-$30, not too bad.

The one I had in an 80 Capri Black Magic did not have an actual horn button because the horn switch was down on the steering column.

Keep checking craigslist for people parting out these old trucks and Broncos.

Hey Bill, do you happen to have number for the correct horn button that goes with it for truck applications? My '79 has one with a Mustang II center. I was going to replace the wheel with a "normal" one, but I've kind of gotten used to it, so now I'm looking to replace the semi-busted Mustang button.
