1996 f250 trans problems...

Can anyone tell me if there is another controller for the trans? There is another computer looking thing next to the actual pcm with just about as many wires coming out of it, would that have anything to do with it? I have boat loads of tranny codes and the people before me spliced some wires into that for their plow hookup and I think that is my problem. I'll post a picture when I get home.

From the factory, the same PCM runs the engine and the tranny. By the sounds of it, your truck's wiring doesn't sound stock. Hard to say what you're looking at without a few pictures.

This is what i was referring to. I bought this truck to plow with this winter. The truck runs and idles no problem. Give it any gas and itll not rev, kind of sounds like there isnt enough fuel. I will check the pressure tomorrow. If you give it slow throttle, itll rev all the way up no problem.

This dummy spliced into wires coming out of that box for power or something for the plow box. I cut those wires and repaired what he destroyed hoping that this was my trans issue because i get every code you can think of for the trans. OD light is blinking, but i dont know where to start. He also spliced some wires for the motor harness, i changed that today still with no positive results, still does the same thing...

When i changed the wiring harness i seen two plugs at the back of the motor that were not plugged in. The harness i used from my old 94 had them to but i have no clue what they go to. My dads 96 with the same motor/trans combo does not have them:

Here are all the codes i am getting:
KOEO:
621-Shift solenoid #1 circuit failure
624-Electronic Pressure Control solenoid or driver circuit failure
626-Coast clutch solenoid circuit failure (E4OD)
629-Converter clutch control circuit failure
636-TOT sensor voltage out of self test range.

KOER:
129-Insufficient MAF/MAP change during Dynamic Response Test.
173-HEGO sensor circuit indicates system rich (right side)
332-EGR valve opening not detected
632-Overdrive cancel switch not changing state (E4OD)
636-TOT sensor voltage out of self test range.

I changed the MAP with a new one too. No change.
