Good Morning Everyone!

I have a doctor's appointment in the AM first thing. Then I'll get back after the engine.

Alan, good luck with the doc. Do you have a rod end furnace?
I just about have the rustallion doors ready to go back on the car. One more coat of primer and they're rehung. I'm actually seeing progress...woot.

Nope. Just a plain old shop press. I made a wooden jig to sit the piston in so it doesn't get marred up. It works great. Never had a problem so far. (knock on wood)

That's some resourcefulness.

Tiff didn't want to cook so I'm making some crock pot chili. We're all out of Bambi, so I have to use plain old dead cow. It's not too awful bad without the deer meat, but she made me leave out the salsa, too. So I had to come up with more seasoning to fill in the gaps.

Alan you need about one tablespoon of my fresh ground, Chipotle Pepper! I'm with you on that deer meat, nothing makes a better pot of chilli!
Stuck inside all day here, called Ford Motor Credit, they allready sent out a copy of the lean release we need toregister the Escort. Hope to have it tomorrow, then it's another trip to the License office to see those lovely people.
Rainning again, now a little thunder and lightening. Nice to stay inside.
Unk Bob

Hmmm. I'll do it next time. That sounds good. It's too late to add anything now. It won't have much time to cook in. It's not bad as is. I'll add the hot sauce to mine. Tiff and the girls don't like it very hot.

I got the bottom end of the engine buttoned up on the engine I'm building. Today I attached the sump to the oil pump, welded it in place so it didn't fall off, and then I packed the pump with grease to prime it. (I'll prime the whole system with a drill before I fire it.) Then I cleaned the oil pan and bolted that up.

Tomorrow, ....the heads. ...UHG!

missouri rivers

i saw something on kfvs12 website about missouri drivers. according to carinsurancecomparison.com missouri has the second worst drivers in the country. louisiana has the worst. now, i haven't read the article in full but, i don't know if i quite agree with this claim. what do you guys think? i wonder how many of these supposedly bad drivers have ford trucks?

If some of the people I get stuck behind on the way to work are any indicator - I'm not surprised.
