I gotta go pay some bills today. At least I have the money to do that now. We may even have a little left over so we can buy some food too! Yay! We like eating every once in a while.
I just put the 'Vette up for sale too. I'm not supposed to sell it, but I need a roof over my head more than I need a broken Corvette in the garage. (master cylinder & heater core went out) Other than that, it's fine. I'm gonna drop the insurance off of it, too.

Missouri is the most micro-managed, over-bureaucratic state I've ever lived in. In Tennessee, you go to the court house, talk to ONE person, pay $30 and walk out with new tags. Not in Missouri! It took me all friggin' afternoon to renew the tags on my truck.
I go to the DMV with my insurance card and old registration. Good enough? NO! I bought my truck in January and transferred the tags off my old truck. So the inspection is good for a year right? NO! It's only good for 60 days. (That's what the DMV told me) So I have to go get the truck inspected again. I also need a copy of my tax exempt form. (That I don't have anymore) ...So I go to the tax assessor's office. Oh, sorry, the exemption office is on the third floor. I go to the third floor and they tell me, Ok, you're good, the form is printing out on the first floor in the tax assessor's office. REALLY? Go and get my signed exemption form. Then I have to drive over and get my truck inspected for the second time in 10 months. Then I can go back to the DMV and get my tags renewed. ...for $40 for ONE year. (registration PLUS TAX) Now at the end of the year, I'll have to pay taxes on my truck AGAIN in two more months. How many friggin' times do I need to pay taxes on same dang truck??!!
Did I mention it's cold out and I'm in miserable pain?
This state sucks.
