Rich I hope the dog to the Vet, is better than what you and Penny went thru with Prince.
We're taking one to get a bath, and just a de-louse in general. Not my dog, I'm not cleanning it.

I gotta go pay some bills today. At least I have the money to do that now. We may even have a little left over so we can buy some food too! Yay! We like eating every once in a while.

I just put the 'Vette up for sale too. I'm not supposed to sell it, but I need a roof over my head more than I need a broken Corvette in the garage. (master cylinder & heater core went out) Other than that, it's fine. I'm gonna drop the insurance off of it, too.

That reminds me, I need to call our insurance company and ad the Escort, I've allready dropped the insurance on Ka'Bluey. He isn't going anywhere vary soon, why have it covered to sit in the backyard?
Alan I hope things get better for you and the family vary soon!

Unc Bob, I kinda like the lil Escort. Make certain the fan kicks on once the engine gets warmed up really good.

Alan, that sucks but I understand. What year is the Vette? I can talk around to see if I can find a potential buyer.

Hi folks. I'm back.

Don't really feel like I aced the interview, but I didn't bomb it either.

We shall see...

Missouri is the most micro-managed, over-bureaucratic state I've ever lived in. In Tennessee, you go to the court house, talk to ONE person, pay $30 and walk out with new tags. Not in Missouri! It took me all friggin' afternoon to renew the tags on my truck.

I go to the DMV with my insurance card and old registration. Good enough? NO! I bought my truck in January and transferred the tags off my old truck. So the inspection is good for a year right? NO! It's only good for 60 days. (That's what the DMV told me) So I have to go get the truck inspected again. I also need a copy of my tax exempt form. (That I don't have anymore) ...So I go to the tax assessor's office. Oh, sorry, the exemption office is on the third floor. I go to the third floor and they tell me, Ok, you're good, the form is printing out on the first floor in the tax assessor's office. REALLY? Go and get my signed exemption form. Then I have to drive over and get my truck inspected for the second time in 10 months. Then I can go back to the DMV and get my tags renewed. ...for $40 for ONE year. (registration PLUS TAX) Now at the end of the year, I'll have to pay taxes on my truck AGAIN in two more months. How many friggin' times do I need to pay taxes on same dang truck??!!

Did I mention it's cold out and I'm in miserable pain?

This state sucks.

LOL. Sorry about your rough afternoon, Alan.

If it makes you feel any better, had you been in Arizona, it would have taken you the same "all afternoon", plus about another $400.

God Bless Kansas.

Oh yea have my Ford truck & trailer habit and see what it takes and costs to tag/insure/property tax it all....

Maybe that will easy your pain a bit, probably not, but at least I am trying.
