Deer Hunting, Eating Turkey, Napping on couch, & BSing in Indiana Nov 2011...it don't get any better
Well folks...I seem to say this every month...but really WHERE HAS THIS YEAR GONE!!!
It's already November of 2011 and this is my absolute favorite month of the year. The gun season opens for deer in a little under 2 weeks and I'm looking forward to getting back out there with my gun and being able to hunt more with Zoe...she's got her mind set on a buck of her own this year and that would be so cool if she could score on one...the icing on the cake would be if I were able to score on one too that day!!!...but I'll settle for her getting one...lol...
Then we'll get into Thanksgiving...it is a great time of year for all of us to reflect on the gifts we all have. I know we all go thru some tough times in our lives...but when you stop and reflect on our lives as a whole...there is always something in there that is a huge gift...it is sometimes hard to "mine the gift"...but trust me...it is there...it is just sometimes clouded by all of the other "tough-items" if you will...I try and focus on the gifts no matter how hard they are to see because when I find them...they make everything so much clearer in my life...and when I find them and they lead me out of a tough time...I thank our good Lord for that gift...so when life seems to be throwing you a curve ball and it has you down...try and do what I do...keep looking past that downer because there is something there for you to find if you are willing to take the time to look for it.
Okay enough of my philosophy for today...
HAPPY NOVEMBER EVERYONE!!!...get to BS-ing!!!
And in honor of WAG...I used every available character in the title of this thread!...lol
Thanks to everyone for making our chapter as active as it is...I REALLY want to get a get together going for next year...we really need to make that a priority...a camping weekend seemed to be a bust...so perhaps a few day get togethers around the state...we'll have to see...

Good morning. Just bought my hunting license. Muzzleloader season kicks off next week. I'm taking Monday-Thursday off work. Hopefully I'll bag a deer (it will be my first).
